What apps will you be talking about at DO Mobile?
I use apps for absolutely everything and I will be talking about a range of apps that have helped me run a more efficient business and compete successfully against much larger organisations.  That’s going to include a project management app called Trello, a bookkeeping app called Xero, the Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking app as well as other favourites Pocket, Snapseed, FiLMiC Pro and Headspace.

How do you use apps in your business?
I use them for project management, for finance and bookkeeping, for capturing video content, for editing photographs, for publishing content on social media, for communication for everything basically.  In my case I cannot justify the cost of employing someone else to do a lot of these tasks for me so I have to be clever in how I get them done without compromising on quality and there is an abundance of apps that allow me to do that.

Why should a small business come to DO Mobile?
Every small business owner has a smartphone; this event will help them to start making the most out of its potential.  It will help them improve their sales and marketing and get more sales. It will help them run a more financially efficient business and save money.  And they get to hear from Brendan O’Se, one of the world’s leading iPhoneographer’s on how to take better pictures for use on social media, email and on their website.
